What stories are you telling yourself?
It’s time to change the narrative.
“I’m not a writer.”
“I don't have time to write.”
“I don’t know where to start.”
“Nobody wants to read my story.”
Recognize any of these?
Doubt is the villain in this plotline — but we know the hero
wins in the end.

What to expect in Life Writers
Each month features a live new-member orientation with founder Patricia Charpentier where she’ll walk you through the site, answer your questions, and help you set an intention for the month.
From there, you’ll navigate the get-started roadmap, meet your buddy group, attend our Writers CAFÉ to discuss selected memoirs and pertinent writing topics, consume live and recorded instruction, make yourself accountable with a monthly goals check-in call, and receive feedback on your stories.
You can dedicate as much or as little time as you’d like to both your Life Writers activities and your personal writing.

The activities within Life Writers vary somewhat week-to-week. Should you wish to participate fully, you can expect to invest an average of two to three hours per week of live meetings, video lessons, assignments, and connecting with your buddy group, in addition to the time you choose to set aside to write your personal stories.
Whether you are crafting poems, fictional stories, or creative nonfiction, the elements of engaging text are all the same. Life Writers exposes its members to devices such as dialogue, crafting scenes, characterization, and more that enhance all writing.
Ultimately, members need to be comfortable using technology, including email, basic word processing, Zoom video conferencing, navigating the Life Writers website, posting assignments, and commenting on the Life Writers website, all of which we can show you how to do.
Life Writers also has written instructions and numerous help videos that show you how to successfully accomplish these tasks.
None of these are difficult, and before long, you’ll be able to do everything you need to with your eyes closed.
If you try out the program, yet find Life Writers is not a good fit for you, email us before the end of your first thirty days of membership, and we will refund your subscription fee. However, we know once you experience Life Writers, you’ll be excited to stay and see what you can accomplish.
