Episode 104 – Course Correction

How many times have we charted a course for our lives, only to see it take an unexpected turn?

We’ve all been there—sometimes changing direction by our own choice, other times not so much.

But, we often find there’s one key person behind each shift.

In today’s episode of the Life Writers Vlog, we look at how these pivotal moments shape our lives and our stories.

Whether it’s a friend pushing you to try something new or a mentor’s advice opening doors you never imagined, we explore people’s impact on our life journeys in today’s prompt.

First, we’ll brainstorm by making a list of those influential figures in our lives, and then, we’ll write.

We’d love to read about this influential person and his/her impact on your life. Please share what you wrote in the comments section below, and we’ll celebrate or commiserate with you.

Regardless of the direction you took always remember, the only way to do this wrong is to not do it at all!

A shout-out to John as well, after seeing his binders full of stories I knew… Read more »

Thank you for sharing your personal example story in this vlog. This is a deeply moving topic and you helped me tap into it. My list of names is started, and will help me write out the what and why more easily than when I’m staring at a blank page.
