Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be an experienced writer? I’ve never written anything before.
No, absolutely not! The Free Five-Day Writing Challenge is ideal for writers of every experience level—or none at all. Our motto is The only way to do it wrong is to not do it at all. So, join us and just start writing!
Does the challenge include any writing coaching?
Every participant has the opportunity to qualify as a Rock Star Writer and win a ticket to a live, group coaching experience with Patricia after the challenge. Rock Star Writers may submit 750-1,000 words maximum for a chance to receive a live review of your story. Three submissions will be chosen at random for review during the coaching call.
How do you win this fantastic bonus? Post something you’ve written every day on the daily challenge page and engage with your fellow members. Submit your fifth story entry no later than 11:59 p.m. ET the day after the challenge ends on Saturday. We’ll notify all qualified participants within seventy-two (72) hours and provide an access ticket to the group coaching experience.
Are there any live events or is everything pre-recorded?

How much time should I set aside for the challenge each day?
You may write as much or as little as you wish. You can do all or some of the daily lessons, or none at all. This is your challenge.
That being said, we encourage you to set aside a minimum of thirty minutes per day to watch the video lesson and complete the writing assignment. Then, if you wish to share your work on the daily challenge page or respond to others’ posts, go for it! In fact, some of the best benefits you’ll gain from the challenge is connecting with your fellow writers on the daily challenge pages.
How much does it cost?
Not one penny!
How long will the challenge content be available to me?
You’ll have access to all content for thirty (30) days after the challenge ends.
