Today, I tackle a common question I hear from people writing their life stories.

Should I include photos in my stories?

The short answer–yes–but there’s a big but when using photos.

Don’t force the photos to tell the story.

Write the moment the photo captures, and make the image the cherry on top–nice to have but not required.
