Today’s writing prompt comes from Life Writers Community member Kit Dwyer, who suggested, “What’s on Your Desk?”
I thought that was an excellent topic to write about.
Our desks usually contain a mix of both functional items and personal treasures that reflect not only what we do but also who we are and who and what we love.
The challenge today is simple. Make a list of what’s on your desk or another space that’s uniquely yours.

Then write a story about one or more of those items. Paint a picture for us, and let us see your desk.
Once you’ve written your piece, share it with us in the comments section below. You can even include a photo of your desk. We’d love to see it.
But whether your desk is clean or cluttered, always remember, the only way to do this wrong is to not do it at all!

One more special item is a purple-pink dragonfly my youngest granddaughter Anna bought me as a surprise one visit. She bought one just like it in pink so we could have the same one to keep. Every time I look at them… Read more »

Almost noon and I’m the first to post! What! I wrote a story about my workbench. Lisa has taken over our desk, and I only visitt there.
Love it!
I love your last line, true love for sure! And I’m happy you brought your German workbench to Florida with you. Thanks for sharing…well done.
