Ways to Add Historical Context

Now that we’ve discussed the importance of adding historical context to our stories, let’s look at some ways to do just that.

We’ll use a classic memoir, Growing Up by Russell Baker, to examine how he includes historical references.

These include time and location, events of the day, language, fashion, and many more.
