For much of the writing we do, the people in our stories carry important information. It’s worthwhile to make them real so our story will have a much bigger impact. Put a little time and effort into bringing your characters to life. Your readers will connect more deeply with your characters, and thus, your story.
In this video we’ll discuss how to evaluate and fine-tune your characters. Use the checklist provided to determine what you need to add or trim in order to make the people in your story as effective as possible. We’ll also do a writing exercise using the excerpt provided below.
