Course Overview:

Some of the questions I’m most frequently asked center on how a book should be structured. Many writers try to determine the structure of a book before they write the first word. It’s great to have an idea of how your stories may fit together, but to impose a structure before you even begin to write is a mistake.

I believe writing is a spiritual process, and as you draft your stories, a structure will arise. Trust it.

We’ll also study purpose in this course and work on clarifying the purpose of your project, chapters, and stories.

Please note: The master class on structure will refer to the text, Between Two Kingdoms by Suleika Jaouad.
