Our Tuesday, November 22, Writers CAFE kicked off with a healthy discussion of characters found in Dispatches from Pluto by Richard Grant. Most talked about included Sam Olden and other honorable mentions went to Mariah, Jelani Barr, Martha Foose, William “Monk” Neal, and Lee Abraham.
Then, came a lively discussion about what helps you write as members answered the questions:
- Do you have things you do to help you create or edit your work?
- Do you use technology to help with your writing?
- Have your established effective habits or rituals you can share with us?
Grammarly kicked off the discussion with ProWritingAid following close behind. One Stop for Writers, created and maintained by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi (authors of The Emotion Thesaurus and all its sequels, which I love) is a site loaded with all kinds of wonderful information for writers, worksheets, and an online, searchable version of their many thesaurus books.
