“Ghostly Encounters” was the prompt at tonight‘s writing class. At first I was going to leave the Zoom meeting. I don’t believe in ghosts. I don’t have any stories of white mists on a stairway in an old abandoned house or mysterious footsteps in the night. I thought about looking up the local legend of the White Lady of East Irondequoit and trying to make a story out of that but this part of the class was only 30 minutes long, not enough time to both research and create.
