Share Something You Created

We always knew Life Writers was filled with creative men and women, but tonight, we saw just how creative they are.

In our Writers CAFE–Share Something You Created session tonight, we enjoyed the fruits of our talented colleagues’ efforts. They knit, weave, scrapbook, paint, draw, color, and sculpt. They make jewelry, birdhouses, and ceramics in addition to writing amazing stories.

We also celebrated Nancy Archibald’s recent success in having an article published in Relatively Speaking, a quarterly publication of the Alberta Genealogical Society, about her grandmother’s experience as a war bride. Here is a copy of her story.

Oh, our book discussion? We never really got around to it–too much creativity to share.
