In this book craft class, we used Rick Bragg’s essay, “Return of the Goat Man” in Where I Come From, to study how to characterize a person.

We looked at some of the many ways Bragg brought the Goat Man to life in his essay, including what the person was called, what he did, what he looked like, what he wore, what he possessed, and more.
