On the second Tuesday of each month, I answer your questions about Life Writers and the membership website.
Tonight, we looked at the Tools & Resources page and all it has to offer.
We also tackled Dave Godin’s question on creating a fictitious medication name and how to note it in his story. Here’s Dave’s paragraph:
Sgt Hollerbach had not expected to report to work that morning. He expected instead to be dead. He had downed two bottles of SlepaCol (not a real name) just before going to bed the night before. In the morning he woke up, got over his surprise to be alive, and went to work. He didn’t know what else to do. Sgt Hollerbach found out about the over-the-counter drug on an internet site devoted to suicide. According to the recommendation there, he could take the SlepaCol and just go to sleep while his major organs quietly shut down.
