The rules of grammar, punctuation, and usage evolve over time, so our writing must evolve as well. The way you learned grammar and punctuation years ago in school often no longer apply. 

In this video learn how to punctuate too, correctly use more than vs. over, and root out the overuse of ing words. Then apply what you’ve learned to a story you wrote.

We can end a sentence with a preposition?!?!?! This is a life game-changer. Yay to being able to end a sentence with “about”, as in the example you gave. But, Patricia, can I get my old-school-self to think it is ok to say “Where’s it at?” Heavens, No! Please say that isn’t so. “Where is it” is proper sentence structure. At least I hope it is. When I hear some of the “street talk” from customer service agents, I’m thinking to myself, how did this person get this job? How did their teacher let them graduate from high school?
