If we write, we must have a system to organize our writing. Otherwise, we have piles of paper everywhere and don’t know which files are the latest versions.

Your system can be simple or complex. It just needs to work for you, tell you exactly where you are in the process with each of your stories, and give you peace of mind.

Patricia, I have a question about the previous versions after the book is published. Do you keep all of the previous versions forever or just the final edited version? And if you keep all of the previous version what is your reason for doing that?
