Tonight’s book discussion of The Art of Memoir by Mary Karr centered on chapter twenty-three through the end of book, pages 193-229.

We had a lively discussion on various points Karr made in this section, and then we focused on the appendix, pages 221-226, where Karr lists more than 300 books, mostly memoirs, she considers required reading. These are the questions we pondered:
