Rule #4 – Commas & Periods

Alright, rule number four–commas and periods.

Here’s the deal: always, and I mean always, tuck those commas and periods inside the quotation marks. Easy, right?

“Today, I’m going to the diner,” Betty said.

Keep those commas and periods inside, period, end of story.
