In our first micro-memoir story study session, we examined three stories: two focused on our topic of Close to a Crime and one on the found story structure.
Wide Open Spaces” by Kathryn Miller and “Alive” by Laurie Lynn Drummond, both published in Brevity, generated a lot of discussion.
We also talked about the purpose the policeman Anne Marie served in Kathryn Miller’s piece, “Women These Days” by Amy Butcher.
And if we didn’t already have enough crime to wrap our heads around, Amy Butcher’s “Women These Days” generated even more conversation.
