For the next few months, we’re replacing the Inside Life Writers session held on the second Tuesday with a Micro-Memoir Feedback Session.
These special feedback nights will take place after our Member Story Review at approximately 6:00 p.m. ET on the following dates:

Tuesday, September 10, 2024
Tuesday, October 8, 2024
These feedback groups will function as follows:
- You do not have to post/submit a story in advance.
- You do not have to read and prepare to discuss your feedback partner(s) stories in advance.
- You will be partnered randomly with one or two others on the night of our micro-memoir feedback group.
- You will have fifteen minutes to read your story and receive first-impression feedback, using our usual four-question feedback format.
- You will listen to your partners’ stories and give first-impression feedback.
- You will return to the main group when the feedback session ends and share your experience.
As you can tell, the micro-memoir feedback group will function much like our regular monthly feedback session, but you do not need to submit your story or prepare to discuss your partner’s story in advance. Simply come to the session with a micro-memoir of 300 words or less that you want help with.
