Now that we’ve examined the front and back covers of Between Two Kingdoms by Suleika Jaouad and formulated questions, it’s time to see what we can glean from material that precedes and follows the main text. In the paperback, we find reviews, title pages, copyright page, dedication, epigraph, table of contents, author’s note, map, two parts, thirty-four titled chapters, epilogue, acknowledgments, and about the author. How can we use this pre- and post-story information to inform our reading of Between Two Kingdoms?
Excellent review of how to look at the front and back matter of a book. I listened to it twice to revive my focus after being in the tomb of family-visit seclusion.
