Now, she begins the road of emotional, spiritual, and mental healing as she launches her one-hundred-day, 15,000-mile journey around the United States, visiting people who contributed to her recovery from cancer.

Jaouad switches from past to present tense in part two of her book, so we examined the pros and cons of writing in present tense and how to transition from one to the other seamlessly. Then, we did a little present-tense writing of our own.
