With hundreds of bits of information we could write about the people in our lives and stories, how do we decide what to use? One way is to consider what characteristics best portray the person based on what you are writing about them. Also, look for what is unique. Don’t ignore the obvious traits but call more attention to the ways each person lives out his/her individuality.
