Day Three – Endings – Years 41-50

0%

To end a story, you just write until you’ve said everything you have to say, and then you stop, right? Not quite, but this video gives you insight into what constitutes a good ending.

As you’ve done the last couple of days, print out a few blank cluster diagrams and brainstorm years 41-50. Use the extra diagrams to drill down on the topic that interests you most and bring a single s-story into focus. Now, you can settle into learning how to write a satisfying ending to your story, one that answers the questions raised and gives your reader a sense of resolution.

Draft your story, post it in the comments section below, read the work of a few of your fellow challengers, and let them know how their closings sat with you as a reader.

Remember, today’s effort moves you one step closer to becoming a Rock Star Writer and receiving all the benefits which come with that status. These include participation in a private, group coaching session with Patricia and the possibility of having your story reviewed by the group. It’s worth the effort. Happy writing!
