Micro-Memoir: Dialogue

0%

Letting people speak by using dialogue is one of the best characterization methods.

That way, your readers come to know the people in your stories through their own words.

The author doesn’t need to say someone is a jerk or a lovely person. Instead, the reader sees and hears them acting like one on the page.

Here is a story I wrote called “Blind Tiger” that appeared in the Florida Writers Association anthology, Let’s Talk.

Today, we learn what dialogue is and what it isn’t.

Let those people speak!
