In the first Writers CAFÉ of our spring session, we began by answering writers’ questions followed by a short discussion on The Art of Memoir by Mary Karr. Members responded to the question: “Just by reading the front/back covers, caveat emptor, and preface, how would you describe Mary Karr’s writing voice?”

For our practice feedback session, we used Judy Fink’s story, “The Bus Lane,” and members offered feedback and provided insightful comments. Here are the story notes everyone can learn from.
