Close Reading of Front/Back Covers – “The Invisible Wall”

0%

The best place to start reading a memoir is not where you might think.

Instead of jumping straight to page one, take some time to study the front and back covers and the pages before and after the actual text.

Walk with me as we examine all aspects of the covers. Formulate questions, and then, as you read, look for answers to your questions.

Follow this method to read actively and be more engaged with the text.

I’m just beginning to read the book and it’s going to be an interesting read.

I loved this book from the first page to the last. It is what some call A Sky Writing because it covers a universal problem of many invisible walls that exist between people in different parts of the world. I hope our little community of writers would appreciate the author’s writing as much as I did.

Etya, I loved this book, couldn’t put it down. I look forward to digging deeper into the writing but I am glad I was able to read it through first and fully digest the remarkable story.
