Let’s talk tip #6: there’s nothing wrong with said. Really, there isn’t.
There’s no need to go tagline crazy with a thesaurus because said does the job.
A tagline is there to guide the reader, not call attention to itself. Trust me, readers breeze through it.
Too many fancy tags distract the reader, like a party with too many voices. Use said. Easy, right?
