American and British English often differ in pronunciation and spelling, and you may be unknowingly using a combination of the two. Make sure you consistently use what is standard for your country.
As our speech simplifies our language, it’s easy to do the same in our writing. Don’t, unless your writing dialogue. You may find nite, lite, tho, thru in the dictionary, but don’t put them in your writing. Watch this video to learn more.
