A couple of months ago, we wrote about I Stink at That, where we dove into things we’re not good at.
For tonight’s prompt, we flip the coin and write about I’m Good at That.
What about you? What do you do well?
Tell us about it in the comments section below so we can cheer you on and let you know just how great you really are.
But remember, writing best be on your list, and The only way to do this wrong is to not do it at all!

Here is the unfinished story I wrote for the prompt “What Am I Good At?” I need to write more because there is more to this story than I currently wrote. I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
You had such a scary childhood. You turned it around and have so many stories to share—a natural talent. Thanks for sharing it all with us.
You are welcome. I will post the rest of it soon. Right now, I am trying to keep up with Nano writing challenge. I hope to finish my second memoir by the end of November.
Thanks to Raquel and Lucille for their feedback that this story reveals more about my character than I ever imagined. It also helped with the title.
Kit, I enjoyed your story. It should be called self-sufficient, he he. I give you a lot of credit for doing that. I only mowed a lawn once to surprise my husband, who worked extremely hard in his auto repair shop. We had a brand-new self-propelled Honda mower, and I tried it. However, it was not fun because the darn thing was self-propelling itself and dragging me behind. The moral of this story is that I still ponder who was mowing the grass to this day.
Kit – I enjoyed your story. I remember my days mowing, but each different house had a different landscaping adventure. What I disliked the most was raking the leaves. I was allergic to all the dust in them. Thanks for sharing.
Julie, raking the leaves was my worst chore too. For my birthday this year, Dave bought me a battery operated leaf blower. It’s my favorite new toy! no more raking for me.:-)
I could have written about my skills in procrastination, avoiding housework, and assembling pre-fab furniture, because blowing my own horn gives me hives, but it turns out there’s one thing I don’t mind patting myself on the back for, and here it is. Thank you, Dar and Nancy, for your feedback! I enjoyed our time together.
You are a wonderful storyteller. I was there with you on stage, listening to every word. Well done
Terry, my friend. What a remarkable story! I could listen to you telling stories for hours. You are a true talent.
Terry, felt all your emotions throughout your story. How special. Sometimes we think we know what we want to be when we grow up only to find out that’s not what the world has in store for us. I had planned to be a nurse. Thanks for sharing.
Nicely told, Terry! I felt your excitement to act and your shyness and fear of all those faces. Your story helped me feel like less alone in the stage fright that still pushes it ways under my skin and leaves my tongue tied in knots.
Oh Terry, you are a storyteller and a great one. Even though my weary old eyes were blurring and I needed to rest, I couldn’t. I was spellbound. Not only are you a fantastic storyteller (I was literally laying on that grass, in the dark spellbound to the end) you are equally apt at writing. Fantastic.
