In this episode, we explore the concept of luck, what you think about luck, your experiences with it, and so on.
Merriam-Webster defines luck as “a force that brings good fortune or adversity,” but not everyone agrees. Some say luck doesn’t exist, while others see it everywhere.
So, I ask you to look at your life for instances of luck that stand out in your memory.

I remember the thrill of winning at bingo with my grandparents at the monthly game in the church hall. At a local fair, I bounced a ping-pong ball into a small bowl holding a goldfish and took the poor fish home. It didn’t live very long.
You can also write about your thoughts and beliefs about what luck really means to you. Let’s explore this concept together!
Once you’ve written your story, please share it with us in the comments section below.
But remember always, the only way to do this wrong is to not do it at all!
Needs more work of course, but wanted to get it posted before I forget like I usually have. 🙂
I just realized this hadn’t been posted. I was sure it had.
If I didn’t know you, I don’t know what I’d think about Lisa after reading this.
Funny. You told an interesting story with a happy ending. So glad everything worked out.
This is so cute. I can see it all. The boy’s grimy little fingers gripping the bowl, and also how proud they were to have won a fish. Something to remember forever.
The darn fish lived two years!
You had posted it. My site had to be restored to a previous day, so all stories posted before that day went poof! Thanks for reposting. That’s amazing that the fish lived for two years. Lucky you and Lisa.

My Lucky You entry
What a positive story! What are the odds that you would win twice!
I’m post the transcription from Lucky You, including my brainstorm session.
Clever. I’m glad you found your calling. College isn’t for everyone.
You certainly had alot of ideas for the brainstorming. I couldn’t think of anything, but will have another think about the prompt.
Thanks for including the brainstorming part. I got to see your whole process. It surprises me how your life and mine have paralleled. I also majored in party my first College attempt. Unfortunately, that discipline doesn’t confer degrees.
Here’s my story about a time I was lucky or perhaps blessed.
Very thought provoking, Terry. Good descriptions.
I like your thoughts on our purpose in life. I was told it’s to serve others. I guess everyone finds their own purpose.
Here is my story, edited during this week’s Write In. Previous post deleted due to typo.
